SITUATION AND PROSPECTS OF HIGH TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP - IT SECTOR IN SERBIA

1. It was assessed that the Forum topic was a current one and that the realization of the Forum was justified.
2. Two key concepts of the realization of IT entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia were emphasized and those are:
o Our programmers are working on tasks and assignments as requested by foreign partners and,
o Our programmers are realizing their own IT products and placing them in the country and abroad.
o It was assessed that today prevails the situation under a) and that we should invest more effort to change the situation in the future in favor of b).
3. It was assessed that for the development of entrepreneurship in the IT sector we need to start with education in the earliest of age.
4. It was pointed out to the fact that there exists labeling of successful IT entrepreneurs who, when working in the development of the business and their company accomplish noteworthy success in entrepreneurship, instead of recognition gain negative label and declared “tycoons”.
